Just a thought on learning stuff--
Juggling is so difficult that it simply CANNOT be learned
if the juggled objects bounce away and roll across the floor when dropped,
that's why they use bean bags to teach it. Later you can juggle chainsaws. Some
things are like that. I suspect IFR training is similar, that's why they use
C172s--the "bean bag" of aircraft to teach it.
