I did a 10 day instrument course. Although not a IV, it is quicker than a 172. I wanted to train in the plane I would be flying for the near future, with the instrumentation and systems I would be using going forward. I have no regrets. Matt ps. I had about 120 hours at the time... ____________ How many of you got an instrument rating in anything bigger or faster than a C172 (military crowd excepted)? How many of you have actually taught instruments lately? Will the real CFI(I)'s please stand up? Learning to fly instruments is challenging enough for anyone. It probably the most difficult rating to get. In my limited experience as a Designated Pilot Examiner-- it is also the one with the highest failure rate. ------=_NextPart_000_0173_01C38DE4.07F0FE40 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
