I would suggest serious instruction. Rolls are easy to do, its when things
go wrong that recovery can become complicated. And time is not on your side
at that point. You would be amazed at how easy it is to drop out of the
entry of a roll into a inverted spin if you let thins get slow. Or come out
too soon and the nose is pointed down and your airspeed hits redline in a
few seconds.
Sean Tucker used too and still may have a school in Salinas California, I
learned a lot from him. Thats where I went for advanced instruction after
the instruction I had at Western Michigan University in an Extra 300, and
then in Florida with Bill Thomas in a Pitts. You may also check at the St.
Augistine airport, a few years back I got instruction there with Phill
Knight and Patty Wagstaff at the Extra dealer thats located on the field.
They put the airplane and me to the limits and I was trashed after 5 days.
But I had learned more than I could ever Imagine. The one thing I learned
was how much risk there is to teaching yourself areobatics in an aircraft
that was not designed for the full aerobatic spectrum.
