Ted,

I am interested to know some facts on the nylaflow brake failure issue.

Answer. First flight was December 2002. Aircraft now has 200
 hours.
> 2. How long has the tubing been out of Vern's hands?
Answer. Kit delivery was Feb 2000.

Answer. The nylaflow failed inside the gear leg at the pivot point,
where the pin goes though the top of the gear leg into the gear box.
