I bought a Mountain High EDS Model D1(Electronic Delivery System) at the Lancair Open House.  My problem had been low ox absorbs ion (apparently I am a shallow breather).  A minimum 90% level for me required increasing by 2 or 3K settings on the Flow Meter using the Rubber Mustache Cannula or using a Mask with normal (actual flight altitude) setting.  With the EDS set on "Normal" my ox level was 92 to 96%.  I checked my blood ox frequently with a Oxymeter to confirm this.

The EDS automatically delivers the correct "shot" of ox for your altitude at the beginning of a breath so it reaches the deepest part of your lungs in a normal breath.  The Mtn High people say it will extend the useful time of ox in your tank by 2 1/2 times.  If that is the case, we will not have to buy refills @ $25 to $50 on the road again.

Another thing I like about it is comfort, the cannula is just a small inlet, no more rubber mustache or mask.

If you have not tried oxygen you ought to.  We have been flying with oxygen for years and enjoy the smooth cool air in the 12.5 to 17.5 altitudes and lack of traffic .  Plus we feel fresh as a daisy after flying several long legs with plenty of ox to ward off fatigue.
