My plane has a Hawker Energy - Odyssey PC680 Drycell 17 AH battery.  It weighs 14.7 pounds and is mounted upright behind the copilot seat.

 

I installed it in December 1998.  After 4.5 years, it has indicated no signs of age.  I use a Battery Tender to keep it up only in the winter months.
