Hi Bill

Sorry to hear about the holes in the plane but they should be easy enough to repair.  My vote would be to scarf in a new piece of honeycomb, sand the honeycomb slightly below the level of the existing skins, layup new skins, sand and then putty.  You could probably go with Divinycell also which is a lot easier to grind and layup than honeycomb.
