It avoids the release and bond step. 1. Attached 3 bid lay up to inner fuselage side walls extending straight up just beyond height of original flanges. 2. Cut off old flanges 3. Shaped vertical side wall extensions so that stab rests in correct orientation at rear of original saddle. 4. Added mid-bulkhead 5. Bid lay up on interior and exterior side wall to stab joint with small micro fillets. 6. Added micro to exterior fillet to get final shape. 7. Added bid tape over completed exterior fillet 8.
