Yes - Superfil is a very light weight epoxy filler made by PolyFiber. They
also make SmoothPrime and Flight Gloss. I've been using Superfil in cosmetic
areas for a couple of months now and it works fine. It has a much longer pot
life than Micro mixed with Lancair's Jeffco system  (about an hour before it
starts to set up - full cure over night) and I always get consistant
results.   Mixing micro is much more time consuming and two of my batches
are never the same. In the long run I think you will save weight using the
Superfil.

Superfil is very easy to spread evenly, but for those of you in the northern
climates I recommend applying some heat with a heat gun on colder days. You
will definitely notice the difference. It is also very easy to sand.

I'm sold on this stuff. I hope the smooth prime and topcoat work as well.

Regards,

Doug

[Thanks, Doug, I thought that was the stuff.  I guess I'll order my first
containers tomorrow and give them a try.  Time to start dressing up
the gear wells <g>.     <Marv>]
