     I've had both a 2 blade and a 3 blade electric mt prop, on my 235/320
machine.   The 3 blade has much better take off and climb and is much smoother.
 For the 2 to 3 knot penalty in cruise, I would still chose the 3 blade.  The
down side of a 3 blade is additional nose weight which tends to take your C.G.
forward.  I have 10 lbs of lead in the tail to compensate and land with the
elevator trim back full,  but these factors are more than made up for the
additional climb rate at full gross weight and short take off rolls.  I too
have the higher gear and have 8.5 inches of ground clearance with the 3 blade
18C162-105 and a 2700 controller.  Hope this helps...  Don Skeele   (503)
