I have a new IO-320-D1B (stock from the factory) and it is pretty obvious that I will have a difficult time running lean-of-peak with the stock injectors -- it gets pretty rough. I did a quick GAMI lean test and the spread between 1st and last EGTs to peak was around 1.5GPH -- pretty big spread for such a small engine. I will repeat this test a few times in the next few days to be certain of the results. To those of you with the GAMIs: - What was the spread before GAMI? - What is the spread with GAMI? - Do you run LOP regularly? If so, what is your typical power setting and fuel flow? - Knowing what you know now, would you buy them again? Thanks in advance for the info!! Dan Olsen P.S. Boy is this plane a lot of fun! I just can't get rid of the grin on my face :)
