If I were building an LNC2 today I would eliminate the header tank and
go with the expanded wing tanks. I hate having all that fuel in the
cockpit with me, and I would prefer to have access to the footwell
(rudder pedals & cables, brakes & reservior, vacuum regulator, aux fuel
pump, electrical busses) and back of the panel. My fuel system is set
up so I can pull straight from the wing tanks, so I don't need the
header.
