I believed that it was defective in either design or manufacture, or both. Seeing two recent post giving similar experience just strengthens this belief. The factory was willing to sell me a new coupling for a mere $1425. They don't seem to know what warranty means. Are there others who have had similar experience? Dino Rubli C-GFNG
