I wonder if anyone has any more details about the recent SC LIV crash where the witness said the fuselage and the wings departed the clouds separately?
I wonder if this was confirmed, and if the wings were itogether with the spars intact, or if each wing departed the fuselage separately.
Having seen the factory picture with 3' of lead bags laying on the entire length of the wing, I find it hard to believe that the spar would break....
The other possibility would be that the bottom tore out of the fuselage, allowing the entire wing assembly to depart.
Please let us know if anyone has any concrete information.
