Don Barnes and Ron Jones outdid themselves with a very well attended and well organized event. Lots of new faces and familiar friends as well. It was enough of a crowd to coax me away from our annual airshow in Watsonville to come over for the day and meet some Legacy builders. Alot like a typical EAA function but somehow more exciting and vibrant! We brought our electronic scales and had an impromptu "Guess Your Legacy's Weight" contest--Rick Shrameck guessed 4lbs under his actual weight (he blamed the error on the screws missing from his cowling--the "screw factor"--and our scale calibration). I now owe Rick a tank of gas since he took a rain check... The best part for me was putting faces to names like Valin & Allison Thorn, Rob Logan, and Ron Brice. Thanks again, guys. Good Job!
