Hello Berni,

Like Moondog, I have just one small (5 vane) oil cooler. It's mounted on the firewall. I built a NACA scoop on the left side of the cowling by enlarging the drawing of the cockpit vent in the manual by 2X. Behind the NACA scoop is a plenum that gradually enlarges to slow the air and build pressure. That is connected by an extremely short (1") piece of 3" scat to another plenum mounted to the oil cooler. That plenum  is sealed to the oil cooler with RTV so that every molecule that comes in the NACA scoop exits the back side of the oil cooler. My oil temps reach 180 in a climb on a hot day, generally around 165 in cruise. This is actually too cool and I'm going to have to put a butterfly restrictor in one of these days.

My guess is that you may not need a second oil cooler, just a more efficient way to get more air through the existing one.
If you'd like pictures, let me know and the next time I have the cowling off I'll take some, or we can take a look at SFQ on the 17th.
