I would assume as long as your oil temps are in range you will do fine.  MY
experience is to stay above 5.5 qts. I like to run one quart low at max.

One time I changed the oil and filter, tested it out and all was ok on the
test.  12 hours later I found oil smeared all over the right side of the
fuselage.  The oil filter gasket blew and there was a touch of oil on the
dipstick.  Oil temperatures remained normal during that episode.
