Carl, I have an A36 with a IO 520 with 1630 hrs and a 1700 hr. TBO. I
use Shell 15w50 with good results. On my L4P TSIO 550E using the same

Shannon, on my L4P I climb with it full rich, which has required HI boost some times, to the FL's and then run LOP or about 18 to 19 GPH. I don't have GAMI's yet but my temps are very good on the lean side. It also keeps the belly very clean. I ran ROP for the first 50hrs. Also, I use 32.5 in. most of the time. Climbing at 2550 and cruise at 2500 or 2400. Descending at 2300 RPM's.
