howdy all-
although a bit premature, we are hoping to fly by the end of the year. there seems to be a disparity of opinion with knowledgable voices on both sides as whether to fly in primer first or to paint prior to first flight. the argument seems to be that if you fly in primer making changes/fixing mistakes is much easier. on the other hand, people seem concerned that flying in primer may allow oils/fluids, etc to get into the carbon fiber/fiberglass. however if the primer is wls shouldn't that protect the material. comments?? does it really matter??
