Interesting idea,

A friend of mine with a Lancair 360 had a simple idea.  While you can
install some tubing routed from the heat muff; he installed a cigarette
lighter connection and bought a 12 volt hair dryer to manually use as
appropriate and where needed.  A quick cheap fix.  To piggy back on that you
might consider permantly installing a hair dryer and ducting to various
locations from that position and/or add the hair dryer into the loop with
the heat muff source for an additional boost.
