I get the impression that all the stacks should be the same length on
tuned exhaust.  Taking my rolling chart meter I measured the length of
George's exhaust stacks (in knots on the sectional scale).  Knowing that I
had no scale to go by and also believing the picture of the left side and
right side were different scales I compared the relative lengths of the
stacks on each side.  I also could not account for the change in depth by
scaling the photos.  Here are my results.

Right Side - Front = 1.0 (longest pipe on right side)
Right Side - Middle = .84
Right Side - Rear = .81

Left Side - Front = 1.0 (longest pipe on left side)
Left Side - Middle = .82
Left Side - Rear = .81

>From the two pictures I have it seems pretty evident to me that all the
pipes are not the same length, so my questions is how tuned is it?  Can
anyone out there help me with my puzzlement?  I must say though, that
quality dyno data might easily sell me on a set of exhaust headers for my
Legacy.
