Lee,

Please don't short me the .86 Kts.  In that other language 217.86 kt seems to get me over the Holy Grail of 250 mph.  What was even more fun was that dear old Dave Anders only went 222 Kts.  He's not that oh so far away I'm think'n.  Steve Hammer 219.15.  Bruce Hammer 209.07.  Don "Turbo" Saint 197.59.  Ric Argente also had a very nice showing at 208.92.  Rob Logan 235.41, Darryl Greenameyer 275.89 (just off the idle stop I guess).

BTW,  my understanding of entry requirements for such races as the Boston Marathon include some modicum of proof that the entrant have at least the capability to get all the way around the course.  I'd hope that you not bother me with having to pull my plane out of the barn unless you actually can get over 200 kts.   Just a little gentlemanly courtesy, that's all I ask.

217 Knots?  I scoff.  I laugh.  I cast asparagus upon you!

On the first test flight of my rebuilt motor, I saw 197 KTAS at 75%
