Quite right. An improved manual would make a lot of people's life simpler. I was speaking to the future viability of Lancair and the allocation of resources to ensure long term survival. Should the new owner focus his attention on the manuals? How do better manuals improve the bottom line? Joe should be concerned with three things, sales, sales and sales, because without these, all other things are irrelevant.
Besides, the problem with a plane that "any idiot" can build is that "any idiot" may ;-)
Online manuals that are hyper linked to questions, answers and photos would do everyone a lot of good AND may make financial sense be reducing the customer service workload. Any web savvy builders out there want to step up to the challenge?
