Subject: 360 flap hinge line

Ladies and gentlemen … gurus all.

I’m to the point of skinning the left wing on my 360. Thought I’d take a
look at how good the flap hinge line was going to be. So I weighted the skin
down to match the elevation of the stub wing as it should be. With the wing
mounted, I strung string from the flap inside forward-most point (on the
stub wing root) to the distal-most forward flap location on the bottom skin
of the wing. This of course forms the forward hinge line of the flap. The
string, straight and true, does not follow the trailing edge of the stub wing
and wing. There’s a reflex point at the stub wing/wing joint. That
means the trailing edge is not straight in the “z” (up/down) dimension or
alternately stated, it ain't flat. What can I do about it to make the flap
hinge work, as it should? I have pictures if it will help with visualization.
