Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi everyone: Well by now everyone knows that the kit side has been sold. I guess the buying was the easy part, lets face it, Lancair aircraft are the envy of every pilot. If you fly in the flight levels, you probably have heard ATC and even commercial aircraft captains question you as to the type of experimental you are, the horsepower, etc. I seem to get those questions every time I fly. Well, enough about how great Lancair aircraft are. My concern now is to find out what our customers really think about the company and what they really would like to see accomplished by the "new administration." I have read LML for the past few days and I see comments about the manuals and the need for more pictures, perhaps presented on a CD. While I cannot promise an immediate "fix" for these issues, I can assure you that we are looking now for ways to improve all of the manuals and to send pictures on CD to our customers who are still building their aircraft. To those who wish to speak directly with me, I will be in Redmond starting February 19, 2003, and will take as many calls as I can. I will respond to e-mails within 48 hours unless I am out of town. So, please e-mail me at Joeb@lancair-kits.com. Thanks to all, Joe Bartels
