I will double check the alignment when I get the new rod end bearing from Vern today.

Okay Grayhawk, guilty as charged!  In the past two months, I've been training for my IFR ticket and I've caught myself dropping the gear more the once before the magic 120 knots at or near the FAF....  One time, I did drop at 120 knots but then the controller ask me to go a few knots faster, which I did (135 knots) for a few minutes.
