Amanda Smith was one of our chapter's EAA Air
Academy scholarship winners last summer. She is gung-ho to get into
aviation. She is even looking to go to one of the Service Academies.
So I am passing this on. Possibly one of you or your
friends have an unserviceable prop for a small plane or
ultra-light.

Cy,
Maybe
you could pass this along to your extensive set of lists. I do not know
what price range Terry is thinking - sounds like he hopes to have one
donated. Maybe one with slight curling on the tips would be OK - Dean
Maupen???

Hi, this is Terry
Smith, Amanda Smith's dad, and I need some help in locating an old, used or
whatever AIRPLANE PROPELLER!
I'm going to redo her study/computer
room this Christmas vacation while she is gone to visit some of the Aviation
Universities she has been accepted to, and would like to find an old airplane
propeller to mount on one of her walls, along with other aviation items and
pictures of the EAA planes and pilots that she has flown with.
Does
anybody know of anyone who is willing to depart with an old, unused wood, metal
or whatever airplane propeller? If you do, please e-mail me or call ASAP,
as I would like to include this as one of her Christmas presents.
I
wanted to ask at the Christmas Banquet, but Amanda has big ears and I didn't
want to spoil anything in case someone would know of one
available.
Thanks guys,
Terry L.
