As I thought they never appeared. I did receive several notes explaining how normal op limits could be interpreted to mean that its ok. one thing to consider is when people say they did this and had no trouble did they have an accident or incident that was investigated with a second person on board? My fsdo used to encourage me to give check outs after first flights but now that the waiver is around to rent a like type they wont allow this practice(dual during flight test period) anymore. When I fly with a second person on board its for a good documented reason,one that a video camera or recorder wont do I.E. on the thunder mustang I took a mech. along to sequence the inner gear doors as they were hanging up and getting caught on the wheels with air loads. we used a chase plane and had the observer in the chase plane talk to the mech. who was almost up side down in his seat to adjust pressures ect. Also coordinated this flight with fsdo dave
