How old is your kit? Don't take chances on the original Matco brakes if it's more than six years old. Mine cracked, pieces fell off after the first flight. Lucky that it still worked and did not cause any grief. Again, please don't take chances it you have to old style brake pads cause they are crap. Rick Argente

I'm going to use my original Matco pads until they wear out, unless they can't hold me still during the runup, in which case I'll swap in the new pads. Then, as they wear out I'll swap in the new set and send the old set
