In practice I believe most, if not all, controllers and tower dwellers recognize Lancair as experimental and that identification is heard frequently and presumably understood. To date, I've not had occasion to deal with the FAA for reasons other than applying for certifications. Have they ever been known to press this point? Bill Legacy 130
