Interestingly enough the Website for Suspa lists McMasterCarr (www.mcmaster.com) as one of their
"Stocking distributors". So we might all be talking about the same components. The struts already on my 360 were made by AVM (www.avminc.com) and say "Engineering Prototype" on
them. The AVM website doesn't list any models with the same numbers as that found on my existing
struts, leading futher evidence that they are a custom part. In any case I've replaced them often
enough that its time to try a new part. Using a Scale I measured my existing ( and very weak
struts ) at 55lbs, which is not enough to keep the canopy upright even if placed in the fully open
position.
I've ordered a set of Struts from McMaster Carr, I'll report back to the group once I get them and
install them on my 360.

Rick, the gas spring struts for our Legacy's canopy are made by Suspa. They
have a useful guide for selecting the right strut based on length, stroke,
compression strength, etc.
