Your story is something which demonstrates the value of training and experience. In Kansas there are so many deer on the highway, many motorists have installed deer whistles which are mounted on the bumper and cause a high frequence whistle which scares the deer away. Speed to achieve the effect I am told is about 40 MPH. Maybe these could be mounted on the landing gear so once extended warn off the deer by way of this high freq noise. Anyway, good job abd keep flying safe. Regards, Dave Riggs
