Ian Crowe posted a notice in November about halogen fog lights called "Blazer
HottLights"  He is right -- these are a nice looking unit.  They have an
internal light blocker to limit the beam to not shine in oncoming driver's
eyes -- this can be removed easily.  It is easy to strip the threads in the
outer casing, though. I did this on one, but they come in a set of two for $49
so life is still good.

They were available in my little podunk town at Chief Auto Parts and Kragen
Auto Parts.  They were on the shelf, no special order.  Again, $49.  I bought
a $10 chrome replacement cover (the original is shiny black).  It looked like
crap with the chrome.  If anyone disagrees I'll send you the chrome pieces so
you can save the $10.

The complete units weigh 252 grams each.  That's just under 9 ounces.  I plan
to Adel clamp them to the gear leg or bolt it to a small (2 x 3 inch ) plate
which is in turn Adel clamped to the gear leg.  Expect a flight report
sometime next millenium.
