In the prop test that I have done over the last few months started with the Hartzell two blade prop for the Legacy at 72" dia.  The next prop was the Aero Composite and the third was the special scimitar prop from Hartzell.

The performance test were done at 30 MAP to 15,000 AGL and 35" MAP to 15,000 AGL (both test were done with our supercharger).  Performance below 9,000 ft low power settings showed very well for the two blade Hartzell.  Above 9,000 at higher cruse settings I have seen 15 to 18 kts improvement and significant climb performance improvements with the three bladed props.  Hartzell was kind enough to let us have one of the special scimitar props and that is what I used when I set the C1C world speed record at 345 MPH.
