The plane= =20 hit a tree breaking the fuselage apart. Grant was pilot and was killed and=20 one Chelton employee in the back seat was killed and one more Chelton=20 employee was thrown out of the right front seat and had a broken leg and=20 cuts, I was told. The runway is 2200 X 40 ft. see below. (Regan Ranch Private Landing Field:The Regan Ranch landing strip is located=20 at N47 38' 36", W116 42' 05", which is 9.5nm on the 150 radial from COE=20 118.8. Field elevation is 2,700' and magnetic variation is 19E. The field is= =20 2,200 X 40 paved with a 60' rise from 7 to 29. Landing is always on 7 and=20 takeoffs always on 29. The coordinates for TDZ Rwy 7 are N 47=BA 38' 58", W=20 116=BA 42' 29". The field is DAY VFR ONLY. Deer and Elk frequent the field=20= so=20 be alert.Local altimeter can be received from COE AWOS on 135.07 BUT the=20 winds at COE are never the same, and frequently higher, than at Regan Ranch.= ) =20 Many of you and myself knew them all and I feel very bad about what happened= .=20 I'm not sure all of the families have been notified so you will have to wait= =20 for the names.
