The Mac Position indicator (long throw model) is driven off the flap actuating arm. The LED indicator is mounted in the landing scan (right beside the Airspeed), is visible day & night, system installed weight is about 5ozs, it has worked flawlessly for 500+ hours, and is reasonably priced. Each bar on the LED display almost exactly corresponds with 5degrees of flaps. It has been one of my better additions, especially in night/IFR conditions. http://www.lancaironline.net/maillist.html [this is a duplicate of the post sent be Clark earlier today... only change is to the above URL for the LML website. ] Regards, Clark Baker LNC2 360 505hrs tt
