Performed my first clean stall in N7PN
today. From my log book --
"Clean stall at 61 kias, 8500’ MSL, 1 kt/sec
bleed rate, gross weight about 1450#, cg 63.8” (from aft of prop spinner),
power off. Somewhat uncomfortable nose high attitude.
Straight ahead stall break with little warning (slight
burble). Slight left rolling
tendency (may have had ball slightly off center). Controllable in all axes down to the stall with no noticeable
stick lightening or reversals.
Recovered without power changes.
Relaxed stick, aircraft pitched down nicely and flew out."
I'll do some deep stalls on the next
flight. I'll not bore the group with reports unless I find something
interesting.
