Re: "Upon completion he has guaranteed a workbook
that will provide true ES numbers.  Such to include, spins at forward c/g  and aft c/g as well as stalls..."

Be sure to have him do forward and aft cg stalls with full tanks as well as partial tanks, as well as power on stalls in these configurations...

Now, the big question:  If a guy is smart enough to survive the flying experiences his flight history shows, why is he dumb enough to take on such a project?

I bet the people at the factory who are reading this thread are sh***ing their pants.

Have you read Charlie Kohler's report on spins in a LIV?

I have to say, you have a lot of guts to spend the time and money to get that plane, and then to trust someone to perform the tests you have mentioned without a drag chute.

Be sure to get several million more insurance coverage, and be sure to let your insurance carrier know what your plans are, and that he should be listed as a named insured on your policy.

But, I don't think that your carrier will be quite as interested in the project.  They tend to be shy about risk, so you should get waivers from the test pilot, his wife, his children, and his children's children.

It will be interesting to see the results, though.
