Angier,

I've included my right side horizontal tail access.  The theme on my
plane is too close tolerances. I have to use some pretty creative tools
to torque the elevator pushrod connections. This is my first attempt at
sending digital shots.  I have more if these don't induce too much dial
up agony or you desire to see the left side.

My left side access hole has the 1/2" wide com attenna conveniently
running smack dab through the middle of the hole.  I real bleeder when
assembling and disassembling.

I enjoyed bending that little close out piece of al.  It was my first
attempt at shaping metal.

>>On the subject of the HS...when it comes time to prime and paint, is
it best to remove the elevator hinges prior to paint or not?

I took my hinges off just to keep'm pretty.  I then put a small piece of
tape over each of the holes to keep primer and gook away form the
nutplates.  I didn't touch the tape till the final coat was completed.
I felt it cosmetically irrelavent.

PS:  Wife is beginning to consider letting me go to the Lancair BBQ.
Being from TX, I have to ask.... Is it good BBQ?
