(LOP in go slow mode?) best power is the ONLY place to be! look how fast the power drops off LOP: http://www.avweb.com/articles/pelperch/graphics/pp18b.jpg http://www.avweb.com/articles/pelperch/graphics/pp35_best_range.jpg the only reason to run best economy is to reduce your fuel bill, fly farther, or if you can't run best power because of excess heat. now if one has some kinda blower, you can get SOME of that power back, but I'm normally aspirated and would love a computer that finds best power. the problem is FADEC wasn't ready when I was, so I'll hafta find it by hand. also PRISM does not do mixture, so it offers protection (retards timming) as you find best power or economy but will not find it for you.
