Hello
I am a new owner in Australia and have been getting
instruction in my Lancair 360. I have received two completely different advices
regarding final and touchdown - one saying come over the fence at 100 knots and
touch down in a flat landing, while the other says 80 knots on final touching
down at 70 knots with a much higher nose attitude. The latter seems logical but
is there something I am missing that makes the faster approach correct - stall
problems in gusts perhaps??? I'm a little confused. The slower approach seems to
be a better landing in my opinion but I am the new kid on the block and would
appreciate any advice from those who have been around a while.
kind regards
Terry Travers
