Has anyone gathered info on their empty weights ? The L2k specs with an IO-550 show 1500 lbs. Rick "SuperCharge" Schramek reports his is 1414 lbs. At Oshkosh, Lori Edwards & Kent Jackson's showed 1580 lbs on the sign on their propeller. I never saw them to ask what options they have that might have added more weight. Both have IO-550's and Rick's cool super-charger system adds about 30 lbs. We're wondering how much useful load we should count on and possibly trade off against performance enhancements -- e.g. super-charger, air conditioning, de-icing, etc... Valin Thorn L2K 173
