We [ my father and myself ] have = taken off a week to work completely on the plane. We're gearing up here = to hit it at full steam.. and reading ahead I find a couple things to = ask about. The first is trim tabs. Does a guy need Aileron Trim tabs? = I'm planning for definatly elevator trim, but haven't desided which way = to go w/ it. I'm not sure if I should do the lever style thats in the = instruction manual or? Isn't there some type of trim wheel thinggy = floating around? Do you know where a mate might get one? Cost? Also.. = there is nothing in the instructions or plans that I've found, about = trim tab's as far as dimensions and locations. Any sugestions? Do i put = the trim tabs in before closing the various control surfaces or.. after? = or? Is electric trim worth it? Rudder trim.. do ya need it? We've got = the elevator and the h-stab micro'd together.. but haven't started to = run any bids yet.. I've also got the ribs for the rudder.. the ailerons = and the flap templates are getting cut tonight... so we've got lots of = work ahead of us.. I'm also wondering about the AOA stuff.. we talked = about it and desided to go ahead w/ the AOA that is sold by.. is it = Jack? I've got the info around here someplace.. anyway.. wondering.. = that should be placed before the wings are closed? [ i understand its = composed of two tubes.. on pass's throught the top skin the other = throught the bottom to measure delta 'p'] our wings are done.. except = that they aren't closed.. but everything else is completed. [ other than = the stuff at the tip.. tip fairings.. lights etc.] I'm also wondering if = you give out your phone number... for emergency calls only of course ;) = in case we need help in some desperate way over the course of the week. = Don't worry.. we won't call collect :) I forgot my list of questions for = you so this will have to sufice.. for now anyway.. until i can get = ahold of my list..
