I am planning on installing a Bob Archer COM antenna in the vertical stabilizer on my ES.  The manual doesn't cover how this should be done and the istructions that came with the antenna is vague.  My concern is that the antenna legs will cross over the ribs weakening the bond.  Should I attach the antenna to skin prior to closing the tail?  If so, how many BIDs should be used.  Should the antenna be installed in such a way as to be able to expand/contract independently of the tail skin?
Could use some suggestions,
