I'm the same way with my Glasair. I have flown it to the onset of buffet, but I'm not going to play with the possibility of a spin. Stalling a spam can is a different world than stalling these slick planes. My Pulsar would stall at a slow speed, but do the characteristic "fast glass" wing drop no matter how much rudder and how level you tried to fly it. The guy I got the Glsair from only took it to a buffet as well. I don't approach at speeds even close to the stall, and I am still able to land very short if I need to. I just see no need in playing with fire. I'm sure there are many different opinions, but this is just mine.
