It cost less than $20.00 and took about 20 minutes. There is not much to see there but there is gambling and a lot of room. When I flew back, I bought WAC charts. The highest mountains were about 16,000 ft., so I went up to 17,500. The temperature on the ground was over 100 degrees. At 17,500 ft. it was still 50 degrees. My little O-320 still gave me 180 kts. My first stop was Peublo, CO. All of the mountains were behind me by that time. I thought that the biggest thing to watch out for were the MOAs.
