To Grayhawk, Hank,  Jon C,  Bill G,  Hank H, Ken B,  etal,

Nice to hear from all of you and thanks a lot for all the tips.  It will take me a while to digest all the info presented here.  I will check my flight planning software and maps to see where all these places mentioned and  see how it all will fit in my flight plan.  I was thinking of going a few days before the actual race opening day but probably leave before the last day.  Nothing final yet.  Never been to Reno and maybe, I'll just go all the way to the West Coast as suggested by Graybird...

Hey Graybird,  are you going this year?  Maybe we can tag up somewhere in the Chicago area and then I can throttle back a bit (or maybe a lot) so you can keep up...<G>  Bill 'Stuka' Harrelson has express an interest also.

<<, Stead to Stead, High speed hold at fifty feet above the ground.>>

Wow, jets flying at high speed fifty feet off the ground, can't think of anything more exciting to watch than that!  That's it, I AM GOING!!!

<<Ah, but that whole Reno trip is a real story - full of lessons learned from airrors and horrors.>>

Care to elaborate?  horrors?  Please tell us more...

<<Maybe you want to put together a x-country race?  Maybe you want to fly in
formation with faster Lancairs? >>

Why not?  Sounds like fun to me!   Anybody else wanna join us???
