My front oleo, which has been low on air for some time, started leaking oil
out of the bottom seal.

The A/C has not yet been flown and the only work the oleo has been is
sitting around whilst I work  on the plane.  It has not been subjected to
any damage and I am at a loss to explain the spontaneous evacuation of oil.

Even if I could explain it it still would not help me as I  am certain a
repair job is required.

Is there anyone out there who has had problems and had the strut repaired in
North America.  Any wise AMEs, A&Ps or whatever who know what has to be done
and who can do it?

I would be most grateful for any advice.
