Subject: Preferred Digest format question..

To: <lml>
There are two people that receive the digest of LML and use outlook
express that makes all the messages show up as attached files...  Its a
pain for them to click on each attached file, or do File, Properties,
Message source, or to change to real time rather than digest and make a
sorting rule.  so I changed the Digest from multipart/digest to
multipart/mixed MIME

---> Question for the 373 people that get the digest: <---

1) Do you prefer yesterday's digest (standard MIME) or

2) today's digest (embedded MIME) or

3) not receive any images and look in the archive
http://lancaironline.net/lists/ for images?

Pls email response to rob@logan.com

standard MIME

Digests are composed in the MIME multipart/digest format, where the
first part has the text/plain Content-type and contains the digest TOC,
and other parts contain the messages (postings).

embedded MIME

Digests are composed in the MIME multipart/mixed format, where the first
part has the text/plain Content-type and contains the digest TOC, and
the second part uses the standard multipart/digest format and contains
all messages (postings).

plain text

Digests are composed as plain text messages; individual messages are
separated with a line containing minus signs.
