To Jim Cameron:
>>Only beef is that MT did a rotten job getting the spinner
centered -- the run-out must be around a quarter of an inch!>>
Get on the computer and email MT about the problem. With that much runout,
your spinner will depart the airplane sooner or later. If it goes back thru
the canopy or hits the tail you're not going to like the results!
If you have someone who can translate your message into German, you're
liable to get faster response. When I had a problem with my MT prop, things
seemed to be dragging out until my wife wrote my message in German (she's
Austrian) -- got immediate results. Also, you might include a tiny hint that
you're beginning to question the vaunted German quality. That'll really get
their attention!
To be fair, once I got them to understand just what my problem was, MT did a
great job of fixing my problem.
